The UFC 1.5T-4M is a strong, mobile, and modern scale made for weighing pallets and heavy goods quickly and accurately. Its compact design and relatively light construction allow it to be used in different work areas, making it ideal for warehouses, logistics centers, and production floors. With the option of running on a rechargeable battery, the scale can also be used in locations where no direct power source is available.
The weighing platform is made from powder-coated steel and measures 1361 × 840 × 80 mm, with a usable weighing surface of 1190 × 840 mm. It contains four alloy steel load cells that are silicone-coated and protected against dust and water splashes to IP67. This makes the scale highly durable even in demanding industrial environments. For easy movement, the unit is fitted with two transport wheels, allowing quick relocation between workstations.
The display device, from the KERN KFC series, is connected by a 5 m cable. It has a clear LCD with large 48 mm digits that can be read easily from a distance. A protective working cover is included to keep the display safe during daily use. The weighing bridge can also be delivered as a component without the display device, available separately as the KERN KFU-V20.
This scale is part of the KERN IoT line and supports Industry 4.0. Through the KERN Universal Port (KUP), data and control commands can be exchanged. One interface can be connected directly to the housing, and up to three additional interfaces can be added using the KUP extension box. A real-time clock is included as standard, ensuring that weighing results are always logged with accurate time information. Even after a power interruption, the correct time is preserved, keeping records reliable.
The UFC 1.5T-4M has a maximum weighing capacity of 1500 kg with a readability of 0.5 kg and a minimum weight of 10 kg. It offers reproducibility of 0.5 kg and linearity of ±1 kg. For piece counting, the smallest piece weight under normal conditions is 5 kg. It supports weighing in kilograms, grams, ffa, PCS, and percentage.
The net weight of the device is around 55 kg, and it works reliably in temperatures from -10 °C to +40 °C. The platform and weighing plate are made from powder-coated steel. The platform and load cells are IP67 protected, ensuring a long working life.
