The platform is fully made of stainless steel and fitted with a hermetically welded stainless steel load cell. This load cell is protected to IP68 and IP69K, which means it is resistant to dust, water splashes, and even high-pressure cleaning. The weighing surface measures 500 × 400 mm, providing a stable and hygienic platform for weighing goods of up to 30 kg.
The display device is also built from stainless steel and offers IP68 protection against dust and water splashes. It features a bright LCD with 48 mm digit height and backlighting, ensuring weighing results can be read easily in all lighting conditions. The display connects to the platform with a 3 m cable and can be mounted on the wall for convenience. An integrated power supply ensures consistent operation.
As part of the KERN IoT line, the SXC 30K-3L supports Industry 4.0 applications. Up to four interfaces can be configured at the same time, with two wired options (RS-232, Ethernet, USB, or analogue) and two wireless options (WiFi or Bluetooth). Each interface can be set up independently, for example: sending data continuously to a PC, printing stable weights, controlling external devices when a target weight is reached, or monitoring results live on a tablet. The scale also supports remote control and data exchange with CRM or ERP systems through the KERN Communication Protocol.
Optional alibi memory is available for paperless storage of weighing results. This ensures even legally verified weighings can be recorded and processed electronically, making compliance simple and efficient.
The SXC 30K-3L has a weighing capacity of 30 kg with a fine readability of 0.002 kg. It offers reproducibility of 0.002 kg and linearity of ±0.006 kg. Damages
