The weighing platform is constructed from a welded steel chequer plate, providing excellent durability and slip resistance. This ensures safe and secure placement of goods, whether pallets, containers, or oversized items. The platform measures 1500 × 1500 mm and has a height of 123 mm, making it well-suited for forklift or pallet truck loading. Four silicone-coated steel load cells with IP67 protection provide reliable performance in tough industrial conditions by protecting against dust and water splashes.
The display device (KERN KFC-TM, sold with the system) features a clear LCD screen with 48 mm digit height, ensuring easy readability even in busy workspaces. The display comes with a benchtop stand and wall mount as standard, giving flexibility in installation and operation. A 5 m connection cable ensures the indicator can be positioned conveniently for workflow efficiency.
As part of the KERN IoT Line, this floor scale is fully compatible with Industry 4.0 requirements. Using the KERN Universal Port (KUP), it can be connected to a wide range of systems. Data exchange and control commands are possible through one standard interface on the housing, or expanded to three additional interfaces using the KUP Extension Box. This flexibility allows integration with ERP systems, PCs, printers, and wireless networks. With the Real Time Clock included as standard, all weighing results are logged with precise time data, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality systems.
The BFC 6T-3M offers readability of 2 kg, linearity of ±2 kg, and reproducibility of 2 kg, delivering consistent accuracy across its high load range. The minimum weight of 40 kg makes it suitable for heavy industrial goods, while the smallest piece weight for counting of 20 kg ensures reliable piece counting in large-scale operations.
